E-learing: Structure and Schedule
Course Structure
The course is divided into seven sessions designed to be completed one week at a time.
Some sessions will prompt
you to complete an activity or read passages from the Bible; others will ask you to write up
your thoughts in a more general way. At all times, you will be encouraged to reflect on
your own experience and consider how the story of Jesus can be your story.
We invite those who are following this course to request feedback from the course tutors
(Marc Dummer and Tom Arthur), whose function will be to support and encourage further exploration.
In any case, we would like to hear from those who are working through Christmas for Adult
Christians. Written responses can be given to us on Sundays, or send an email to
minister.
Schedule
Week 1, Setting the scene - material will be available from the weekend of 22/23 Oct
Week 2, Matthew and Luke - material will be available from the weekend of 29/30 Oct
Week 3, Matthew - material will be available from the weekend of 5/6 Nov
Week 4, Luke - material will be available from the weekend of 12/13 Nov
Week 5, Mark - material will be available from the weekend of 19/20 Nov

All who are following the course are invited to attend two festive suppers, ''Christmas Table Talk'',
to be held at the Church after Sunday evening services, following the fourth session on
the 13 November and the final session on the 4 December. A notice for this will be placed
on the Noticeboard with the request that if you are intending to come you will put your
name down so we can get an idea of numbers. The main courses will be provided but those
coming are invited to bring bread and desserts – please indicate which on the list and
perhaps have a word with others who might be coming to team up and share the catering
as we don’t want to overdo the desserts – nice as it sounds an apple pie per person might
be a couple of slices too much!
